About The Position

INTUITIVE is seeking an experienced Digital Design Engineer to work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team throughout a program’s life cycle. The engineer will perform complex electrical development tasks and/or lead the technical execution of projects involving multidisciplinary teams. The role includes coordinating with customers and internal program managers to define project expectations, schedules, and goals, and designing, analyzing, simulating, testing, evaluating, and reporting on electronic products.

This on-site position provides exposure to the entire design and development process and the opportunity to influence program execution strategy. The engineer will interface directly with customers across multiple fast-paced programs supporting Army and other Department of Defense customers. Responsibilities may change with program needs and span requirements definition, design, analysis, technical data package development, manufacturing support, integration, and testing.

Requirements

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field.
• At least 5 years of experience performing engineering-related duties.
• Proficiency in digital design, including memory, processors, logic, FPGAs, and CPLDs.
• VHDL/Verilog development experience.
• Approximately 10% travel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of War security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Aviation/ground vehicle integration experience.
• Experience using Altium Designer.
• Experience writing test benches.
• Experience using SPICE simulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electrical development tasks and/or lead technical execution of projects involving multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Work with customers and internal program managers to define project expectations, schedules, and goals.
• Design, analyze, simulate, test, evaluate, and report results related to electronic products.
• Contribute to program execution strategy and interface directly with customers on programs supporting Army and other Department of Defense customers.
• Perform requirements definition, design, analysis, technical data package development, manufacturing support, integration, and testing as program needs evolve.
