About The Position
Applied Materials is seeking an Electrical Engineering co-op for Spring 2027 to gain hands-on experience in the semiconductor equipment industry. The role is based on-site at the company’s Billerica, Massachusetts location and runs from January 11, 2027, through July 2, 2027. The co-op will support technical documentation, circuit assembly and troubleshooting, schematic review, and testing alongside senior engineers.
Requirements
- Be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Be in good academic standing at the university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
- Have a desire to learn.
- Be a quick learner.
Nice To Haves
- Prior related experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit technical documentation.
- Assist with soldering and unsoldering components.
- Analyze and review power and signal schematic diagrams and create redlines for CAD.
- Troubleshoot issues hands-on at the factory and analyze problems with senior engineers.
- Use test equipment to gather and analyze data.
