We're seeking a dynamic Electrical Division Sales Manager to lead the growth and success of our electrical service and project sales operations throughout the Greater Kansas City market. This role combines strategic business development, sales leadership, and customer relationship management with operational collaboration to drive sustainable revenue growth. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of sales experience in electrical contracting, MEP services, or related B2B/facility services industry
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing a book of business
Understanding of electrical systems, services, and industry terminology (commercial/industrial electrical)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

Nice To Haves

2+ years of sales management or team leadership experience
Existing network of commercial/industrial facility decision-makers in the Greater Kansas City area
Experience selling electrical service, project, or design-build work (vs. purely product/equipment sales)
Familiarity with estimating/bid processes for electrical projects
Electrical license, apprenticeship background, or technical trade experience

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to grow electrical service and project revenue within assigned market(s)
Recruit, train, coach, and manage a team of electrical sales representatives/account managers
Set individual and team sales targets; track performance against goals and provide regular reporting to leadership
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, property managers, and facility decision-makers
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including bid/proposal development for electrical projects
Collaborate with operations, estimating, and project management teams to ensure smooth handoff and delivery of sold work
Work with Operations Manager and General Manager to oversee the division's P&L, divisional expenses, budget, and planning.
Partner with marketing on lead generation, branding, and market positioning for the Electrical division
Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, and customer needs to inform sales strategy
Ensure sales practices comply with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations
Represent P1 Service at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
All other duties as assigned
