About The Position

Crosby Electric is expanding its presence in the Huntsville market by establishing a full-service electrical branch. This Division Manager will be instrumental in spearheading this growth, building a team, and managing the branch's operations. The role involves overseeing various project types including industrial, industrial maintenance, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, data centers, and commercial projects. The position offers significant opportunities for bonus earnings and career advancement within the organization.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively coordinate between electrical and other trades
  • 10 years of electrical project management or general project management experience
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Desire to teach assistant project managers and field employees
  • Ability to multi-task responsibilities
  • Computer skills including MS Word, EXCEL, and Project Management platforms (e.g., Procore)
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Pass background check and drug screen

  • A Journeyman or contractor’s license is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Office/Division leadership: Establish and lead the new Huntsville market branch, build and manage a team, and assist in setting up a physical storefront.
  • TEGG DES Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of TEGG Technicians, price pull-through work, and support the North Alabama TEGG Sales Team.
  • Team Management: Build and lead a team including technicians, office staff, and project managers/engineers.
  • Division P&L Management: Set and achieve divisional Profit and Loss targets.
  • Account Management: Maintain long-term owner-direct relationships with new and key accounts.
  • Estimating: Lead and assist with preconstruction activities to secure future work.
  • Purchasing: Issue purchase orders for equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Scheduling: Develop project plans, coordinate resources, and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Manpower Management: Ensure appropriate staffing levels and expertise for projects.
  • Quality Management: Ensure labor and materials meet client specifications.
  • Managing Margins: Complete monthly billings, job cost reports, and manpower requirements.
  • Project Closeout: Prepare as-built drawings, O&M manuals, establish warranties, complete punch lists, and collect final billings.
