About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with expert-level skills in AutoCAD to create and modify detailed electrical construction drawings and engineering packages. The role involves developing one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, and power distribution layouts, and managing drawing sets from concept through Issued for Construction (IFC). The designer will also coordinate electrical drawings with other disciplines including mechanical, process, instrumentation, and automation.

Requirements

• Expert level experience with Auto-CAD including creating and modifying detailed electrical construction drawings and engineering packages.
• Experience developing one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, and power distribution layouts.
• Ability to create drawing sets from concept through Issued for Construction (IFC).
• Experience coordinating electrical drawings with mechanical, process, instrumentation, and automation disciplines.
• AA or BS in Electrical Engineering or similar education.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Minimum 7+ years of industrial electrical design experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and industrial electrical design standards.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical is highly preferred.
• Experience with Revit or BIM coordination is a plus.
