About The Position

The Electrical Designer designs, specifies, and draws industrial control panels. The role includes preparing bills of materials to support purchasing and answering manufacturing questions about panel drawings and components.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience using AutoCAD to create wiring diagrams.
• AutoCAD Electrical experience.
• Experience specifying components and designing industrial control panels.
• Experience with compliance requirements from regulatory and approval agencies, including UL508A and NEC.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Autodesk Vault.
• Experience with industrial refrigeration systems.
• Mitsubishi or Rockwell (Allen Bradley) PLC and HMI programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify hardware for industrial control panels.
• Draw wiring schematics for industrial control panels.
• Maintain and develop the AutoCAD electrical block library.
• Populate bills of materials to support purchasing.
• Answer manufacturing questions about drawings and panel components.
