About The Position

The Project Engineer supports the project team with functions including job cost and schedule tracking, change orders, RFIs, and submittals. The role requires understanding, upholding, and promoting Everus’s 4EVER Strategy: Employees, Value, Execution, and Relationships. Minimal travel of up to 10% is required. The employee may be required to maintain a valid driver’s license; background, credit, motor vehicle record, and drug checks may be required depending on the position.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of construction methodology and managerial processes, normally acquired through a bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field, an electrical apprenticeship, or equivalent experience of three years or more.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze construction schedules.
• Extensive document controls experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Working knowledge of job cost tracking.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, make decisions, and contribute as needed.
• Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• May be required to maintain a valid driver’s license.

• Familiarity with Access.

Responsibilities

• Track construction contract design changes and updates.
• Track construction progress and job costs.
• Coordinate design changes within the construction team.
• Assist with preparing change orders and maintaining the project change order log.
• Assist with developing and maintaining the project schedule.
• Assist with developing and maintaining submittal and RFI logs.
• Prepare project submittals and submit written RFIs to the client.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Understand, uphold, and promote the Everus 4EVER Strategy.
