Electrical Assembler I - Austin TX
About The Position
The Electrical Assembler I assembles, disassembles, and modifies production subassemblies by following work plans, then inspects the results to ensure they conform to requirements. The position requires attention to detail, communication and teamwork, basic computer skills, and the ability to adapt and learn new technologies. Masking and coating are also mentioned as qualifications. This is a full-time, onsite first-shift position at a BAE Systems facility in Austin, Texas. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, on a 4/10 schedule. Travel is 0%.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and desire to contribute to a successful working team.
- Passion for learning and acquiring knowledge.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
- Basic computer skills, including use of software for MRP and data collection.
- Masking and coating.
Nice To Haves
- IPC-610 or IPC-620 certifications.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-883 Methods 2021 and 2017.
