Electrical Assembler I - Austin TX
About The Position
The Electrical Assembler I assembles, disassembles, and modifies production subassemblies by following work plans, then inspects the results to ensure conformance. This is a full-time, onsite position at a BAE Systems facility in Austin, Texas, on a first-shift 4/10 schedule: 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The role calls for strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, effective written and verbal communication, and basic computer skills for MRP and data-collection software. The assembler must be willing to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments. Masking and coating are also listed among the required qualifications/responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong work ethic and desire to contribute to a successful team.
- Passion for learning and acquiring knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including use of MRP and data-collection software.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
Nice To Haves
- IPC-610/620 certifications.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-883 Methods 2021 and 2017.
