About The Position

The Electrical Aircraft Integration Engineer IV designs and integrates hardware for In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems across all phases of aircraft development, from concept through delivery. The role executes design tasks, supports integration efforts, collaborates across teams, and represents Panasonic Avionics during domestic and international travel for on-site installations, surveys, and customer engagements. The engineer leads moderate to complex integration solutions for installing IFEC in aircraft seats, monuments, other cabin areas, and locations such as the external fuselage and empennage. The role translates customer requirements into integrated designs, conducts technical evaluations, identifies and mitigates engineering risks, leads aircraft surveys and installations, and oversees First Article Inspections. It also coordinates with suppliers and internal stakeholders, supports proposals and strategic stakeholder engagements, and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks. The position leads technical kick-off and design quality verification meetings, design reviews, and cross-functional efforts to resolve technical issues. It produces and defines engineering documentation, including integration drawings, specifications, and installation documents. As a technical leader, the engineer supports technical strategy and process improvements, mentors junior engineers, shares lessons learned, contributes to oversight activities, and promotes collaboration, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
