About The Position

The Electrical Aircraft Integration Engineer I designs and integrates hardware for In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems throughout aircraft development, from concept through delivery. The role executes design tasks, supports integration, and collaborates with cross-functional teams. It also represents the company during domestic and international travel for on-site installations, aircraft surveys, and customer engagements. The engineer develops installation solutions for IFEC in seats, monuments, other cabin areas, and aircraft areas that may require external fuselage or empennage modifications. The role interprets customer requirements into engineering designs with senior engineer collaboration, performs foundational technical evaluations, identifies risks, and helps resolve design challenges. It conducts aircraft surveys, supports or leads installations and First Article Inspections, contributes to program planning and design reviews, and creates engineering drawings, specifications, and installation documentation. The position also supports process improvement and learns and applies compliance practices and engineering tools.
