About The Position

Panasonic Avionics Corporation is hiring an Electrical Aircraft Integration Engineer IV to design and integrate hardware for In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems throughout aircraft development, from concept through delivery. The role develops and leads integration solutions for installing IFEC in cabin seats and monuments, elsewhere in the aircraft, and in external fuselage and empennage modifications. It translates customer requirements into engineering solutions, evaluates feasibility, manages technical risks, and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks. The engineer leads aircraft surveys, on-site installations and First Article Inspections for complex programs, and works with suppliers and internal stakeholders to align designs. The role also leads technical kickoffs, internal Design Quality Verification meetings, and design reviews; develops engineering plans and documentation; supports proposals and strategic stakeholder engagements; and provides technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers. Work includes travel to domestic and international locations for installations, surveys, and customer engagements, with travel of up to 30% of the time.
