About The Position

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Electric Drive Test Engineer to join our team in Mossville, IL. This role supports lab testing of electric drive components and systems, focusing on performance and durability testing within a rapidly growing electrification program. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain a strong foundation in motor and generator fundamentals. The role involves owning all aspects of a given test lab, with mentorship provided by a team lead or senior engineer.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering
• Previous testing experience
• Product development experience
• Demonstrated mechanical system troubleshooting skills
• Organization
• Communication
• Meeting facilitation

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans
• Coordinate modifications to the device under test (DUT)
• Instrument and install the DUT
• Execute testing
• Analyze data and summarize results and conclusions
• Lead weekly update meetings and create presentations
• Document findings
• Troubleshoot issues with the test stand, DUT, controls, and related systems
