About The Position

The Electric Drive Test Engineer will support lab testing of electric drive components and systems, with a focus on performance and durability testing. This is an opportunity to work in a rapidly growing electrification program, collaborating with cross-functional teams across design, controls, simulation, and facility design while building a strong foundation in motor and generator fundamentals. The engineer will own all aspects of a given test lab, working under the oversight of a team lead or senior engineer who will provide mentorship as the role develops.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering
• Previous testing experience
• Product development experience
• Demonstrated mechanical system troubleshooting skills
• Organization
• Communication
• Meeting facilitation

Nice To Haves

• DEWESoft DAS experience
• CANape experience

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans
• Coordinate modifications to the device under test (DUT)
• Instrument and install the DUT
• Execute testing
• Analyze data and summarize results and conclusions
• Lead weekly update meetings and create presentations
• Document findings
• Troubleshoot issues with the test stand, DUT, controls, and related systems
