About The Position

ABB is hiring an onsite ELDS Production Operator Paint Line in Mebane, North Carolina. The position conducts assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products, systems, or panels, including packing when integrated with production lines. The operator reads and interprets technical diagrams and instructions, performs work manually or with light hand tools, and uses machinery and equipment on the shop floor. The role also includes regular quality testing within a defined production process and following standard operating procedures while maintaining a clean work area. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge and ability to use tools such as tape measures, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must already have work authorization permitting employment with ABB in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
