About The Position

The Production Scheduler creates and maintains detailed production schedules based on the production plan, releases manufacturing work orders, and runs daily plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to manage production requirements and meet delivery schedules. The role establishes operation sequences and lead times to meet shipment dates set by the master schedule and Production Planners. It monitors schedule adherence, identifies root causes of deviations, and follows up with improvement actions. The scheduler also informs Production Planners about production capacity constraints and material availability. This is an onsite role in Mebane, North Carolina, reporting to the Master Schedule Planner. The position requires at least five years of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and legal authorization to work in the United States. Duties may involve using hand tools, climbing a ladder, and lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 40 pounds.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to communicate directly with project managers about order status and delivery dates.
Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including the ability to monitor performance metrics and support operational decision-making.
Experience managing inventory levels, inventory control processes, and material availability.
Knowledge of logistics coordination, including scheduling, transportation, and delivery management.
Experience handling customer orders from receipt through fulfillment while ensuring on-time delivery.
Ability to manage resources and production capacity to meet customer demand and operational goals.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Working knowledge of and ability to use measuring tapes, calipers, grinders, and other hand tools as required.
Ability to safely use a ladder while performing job duties, as needed.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds.
