About The Position

Consumer Direct Care Network is recruiting a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregiver/CNA to provide in-home support for a woman who needs consistent, hands-on assistance with daily needs. The role is based in the client’s home in Watertown, Wisconsin, and offers flexible daytime hours, with hours available according to applicant availability and up to full-time hours. The work supports the client’s physical well-being, emotional comfort, dignity, and quality of life in a calm, respectful, patient-centered environment. Experience in hospice, palliative, or long-term care is valued. The hourly pay range is $16.32–$17.32. New hires who complete CDCP training may receive up to $500 in training and retention bonuses during their first six months. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, that person or party—not Consumer Direct Care Network—will be the legal employer of record and will have sole authority to hire or dismiss the Direct Care Worker. Consumer Direct Care Network assists with recruiting.

Requirements

At least 1 year of caregiving experience; elderly care experience is preferred.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
Strong communication skills, kindness, and dependability.
Must pass caregiver and criminal background checks.

Nice To Haves

CNA certification is preferred but not required.
Experience in hospice, palliative, or long-term care.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
Support toileting, repositioning, catheter and ostomy care, and use of medical equipment.
Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and perform light household tasks such as laundry and sweeping.
Accompany the client to appointments or outings using a handicap-accessible van.
Maintain clear communication with the care team.
