About The Position

Consumer Direct Care Network is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated caregivers or CNAs to provide in-home support for a woman in Watertown, Wisconsin. The role offers the opportunity to help the client remain in her own home while supporting her physical well-being, emotional comfort, dignity, and quality of life. The client requires consistent, hands-on assistance with daily needs, and the ideal provider understands the sensitivities of end-of-life support and can foster a calm, respectful, patient-centered environment. Hours are based on applicant availability, with flexible daytime hours available up to full time. The position is part time. Compensation is $16.32–$17.32 per hour. New hires who complete CDCP training may receive up to $500 in training and retention bonuses during their first six months. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, that Member would be the legal employer of record. Consumer Direct Care Network assists the Member or Managing Party with recruiting and does not have authority to hire or dismiss Direct Care Workers.

Requirements

At least one year of caregiving experience; elderly care experience is preferred.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
Strong communication skills, kindness, and dependability.
Pass caregiver and criminal background checks.

Nice To Haves

CNA certification is preferred but not required.
Experience in hospice, palliative, or long-term care.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
Assist with toileting, repositioning, catheter and ostomy care, and use of medical equipment.
Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and perform light household tasks such as laundry and sweeping.
Accompany the client to appointments or outings using a handicap-accessible van.
Maintain clear communication with the care team.
