About The Position

Apple’s Environmental Compliance team advances environmental stewardship through waste management and regulatory compliance programs. The Program Lead, Global Waste Compliance will develop and implement global waste compliance strategies, build compliance tools and systems, and help ensure regulatory compliance across Apple facilities worldwide. The role works with regional teams, facility managers, and environmental partners to create scalable solutions that support consistent compliance practices and Apple’s environmental goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience building and leading environmental compliance programs.
• Demonstrated experience developing compliance tools and tracking systems.
• Knowledge of international waste regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong project management experience and ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Law, or a related field.
• Seven or more years of environmental compliance experience, focused on waste management.
• Ability to quickly grasp new technology and complex workflows.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to translate technical requirements for diverse audiences.
• Experience working and communicating with all levels of an organization.
• Success managing compliance programs across multiple countries or regions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Proactive, responsive, upbeat, and well organized.
• Experience with environmental management systems and compliance software platforms.
• Professional certifications in environmental compliance or waste management.
