HazTek is hiring an experienced EHS Coordinator in Austin, TX to be at the center of a safety program! Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or field operations environment required
Electrical experience required
OSHA 30 certification required
Fortlift certifification required
Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, RCRA hazardous waste requirements, and EPA/TCEQ regulations
Excellent verbal and written skills

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with lithium-ion battery storage systems or NFPA 855 is a plus
NFPA 70e is highly preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the project ensuring OSHA compliance
Identify hazards, coach safe behaviors, deliver training, and build a safety culture that works on the line, not just on paper
Respond to EHS incidents and emergencies: activate procedures, collect preliminary findings, and support root cause investigations
Manage the full RCRA hazardous waste program storage, labeling, satellite accumulation, drum logs, and coordination with disposal contractors
Conduct daily safety meetings and audits
Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
