About The Position

As an EHS Coordinator at Vestcom (an Avery Dennison company), you will play a key role in driving environmental compliance, occupational health, and safety programs across our U.S. manufacturing facilities. Working autonomously with limited supervision, you will conduct hazard assessments, lead root-cause incident investigations, and foster a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement. This position offers direct career advancement across both Vestcom and the global Avery Dennison enterprise.

Requirements

1–3+ years of EHS, occupational safety, or environmental compliance experience, ideally in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.
Foundational understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations, hazard assessments, and waste management practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and educate team members across all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving mindset (Curiosity), high personal accountability (Deliver Results), and a collaborative approach (Team Before Self).
Proficiency with Google Workspace or office tools.
Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Implement EHS systems, conduct facility audits, and ensure daily adherence to OSHA, EPA, and internal EHS standards.
Facilitate risk assessments, self-inspections, and root-cause analyses to address deficiencies and track corrective actions.
Develop and deliver engaging site training while serving as a trusted EHS advisor to facility leadership and staff.
Monitor leading and lagging performance indicators, track EHS metrics, and notify leadership or regulatory agencies of incidents as required.
Stay current on regulatory laws and partner with multi-site teams to support corporate EHS and sustainability initiatives.
