About The Position

Prepares patients and performs non-invasive electroencephalograms (EEG), sleep deprived studies and other tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders. Edits and prepares tests, Reports findings and concerns to reading physicians. Cleans and maintains all equipment. Demonstrates excellent customer service, telephone and computer skills. Performs EKGs or other duties as needed.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least an active student in a CAAHEP program, that must graduate from a CAAHEP Accredited program within 6 months of hire, or complete one of the other educational pathways outlined by ABRET.
• Current BLS (American Heart Association) required.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of a CAAHEP program preferred.
• Hospital training preferred.
• ABRET (The American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists) Registered or Registry Eligible preferred.
• Must Obtain Registry within 1 year of hire.
