About The Position

Agri-Business Child Development (ABCD) is an early childhood education organization serving Migrant and Seasonal Head Start, Early Head Start, and Head Start centers. The Education/Disability Assistant promotes child growth and development, early childhood education, and family support, and applies theories and sound principles of child education in practice. The role is based at ABCD’s Batavia Center and works under the direction of the Education/Disability Coordinator and/or Center Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development; or a bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least six college courses (2–3 credits each) in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• Two years of experience working with young children.
