About The Position

St. Joseph School is seeking a full-time Education Assistant to join our school family for the 26/27 school year and beyond! The schedule is Monday-Friday 11:30a-5:00p only on school days. This is position only works on school days. There is no work available during school breaks or days when school is not in session. This position also assists in the after school program until 5pm.

St. Joseph school is one of seven schools within Siena Catholic Schools of Racine. Siena Catholic Schools of Racine comprises six elementary/middle schools and one high school that serve more than 1,600 students. Requirements

• High School diploma
• Experience in teaching or child care or working with children
• Highly organized

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher as directed
• Provide an effective environment that facilitates the school academic program.
• Routinely utilizing instructional technology and optimizing its instructional value.
• Initiating and maintaining open communication with parents and community members.
