About The Position

Siena Catholic Schools of Racine is seeking a half time (.5 FTE) High School Science Teacher to join the St. Catherine's family for the 26/27 school year and beyond. Siena Catholic Schools of Racine unites the area’s six Catholic elementary schools and one high school (St. Catherine's) in a regional model of Catholic education. Their mission is to ignite a spirit of excellence in faith, knowledge, and service, inspiring students to be who God created them to be. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate subject area.
  • Knowledge of application of best teaching practices
  • Ability to work in a high achieving school in a diverse environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Appropriate State of Wisconsin licensing and certification is preferred
  • Demonstrate commitment to the principles of Catholic Faith.
  • Elementary teaching experience
  • Have general knowledge of transformative technology instruction.

Responsibilities

  • Inspiring students and promoting mastery in subject areas.
  • Helping to develop and implement curriculum that is aligned with Wisconsin State Standards, Common Core Standards and Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards as they evolve.
  • Providing continual assessment of student progress and maintaining records.
  • Continually evaluating instructional performance to meet the needs of the students.
