About The Position

The Mansueto Ventures Editorial Fellowship is a one-year internship that gives recent college graduates or master’s degree recipients exposure to journalism across Inc. and Fast Company, along with insight into the parent company’s business operations through administrative support for the CEO/chief content officer and the publications’ editors-in-chief. This is a hybrid role requiring weekly in-office presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at the corporate office at 7 World Trade Center in New York, NY. The target start date is March 2027. The hourly rate is $25, and the position is eligible for paid time off and benefits. The fellow will spend six months primarily reporting and writing for Inc., followed by six months reporting and writing for Fast Company. The curriculum also enables interaction with journalists and business leaders from both publications throughout the year, offering insight into how they approach stories and identify collaboration opportunities. Administrative support is expected to take roughly 15–16 hours per week, with editorial projects taking about 19–20 hours per week. Workloads and schedules may vary by week, and the curriculum is subject to editors’ availability. Administrative duties may include scheduling meetings for the CEO and editors, arranging CEO travel, submitting CEO expenses, coordinating VIP visitors with security and reception, and working with the facilities manager on company gatherings. The fellow may also be invited to observe or participate in meetings with visiting executives. Mansueto Ventures aims to empower and inspire innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders through journalism, conversations, and initiatives celebrating excellence in business. The company describes its workplace values as excellence, respect, integrity, inclusion, and transparency, and states its commitment to diversity and equal opportunity employment.
