About The Position

The Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) is a three-year entry-level program designed for recent Electrical Engineering graduates. This program provides participants with at least three technical rotational assignments in various engineering positions throughout GE Appliances, a Haier company. These diverse experiences include designing and implementing technical solutions, problem-solving through advanced engineering coursework, formal reports, and presentations to senior leadership. A key requirement of the program is obtaining a Master’s Degree in Engineering, which is fully sponsored by the company. GE Appliances partners with a local university to offer on-site, customized classes tailored to the needs of the Edison program, preparing members with the technical and professional skills necessary for career growth in engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or better in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree.
  • Cumulative GPA >= 3.0 (out of 4.0).
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must be available to start in January 2027.
  • Positions are located in Louisville, KY.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in at least three technical rotational assignments over a three-year period.
  • Engage in designing and implementing technical solutions.
  • Develop technical problem-solving skills through advanced engineering coursework, formal reports, and presentations.
  • Work towards obtaining a Master’s Degree in Engineering.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and product management to integrate product designs that meet customer needs.
  • Gain core engineering skills such as PCB design, testing, and implementation.
  • Manage small projects.
