About The Position

The Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) is a three-year entry-level program designed to provide participants with diverse experiences through at least three technical rotational assignments in various engineering positions at GE Appliances, a Haier company. These assignments focus on designing and implementing new products in areas such as Refrigeration, Cooking, Dishwashers, Air Conditioning, and Washers & Dryers. The program emphasizes developing technical problem-solving skills through advanced engineering coursework, formal reports, and presentations to senior leadership. A key requirement of the program is obtaining a Master’s Degree in Engineering, which is fully sponsored by the company. GE Appliances partners with a local university to provide on-site, customized classes tailored to the needs of the Edison program, ensuring participants gain the technical and professional skills necessary for career growth in engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or better in Electrical Engineering or related engineering degree.
  • Cumulative GPA >= 3.0 (out of 4.0).
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Positions located in Louisville, KY.
