About The Position

The Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP) is a three-year entry-level program designed for recent Electrical Engineering graduates. It provides participants with at least three technical rotational assignments in various Technology positions throughout GE Appliances, a Haier company. These diverse experiences include designing and implementing new products in areas such as Refrigeration, Cooking, Dishwashers, Air Conditioning, and Washers & Dryers. The program focuses on developing core engineering skills like PCB design, testing, implementation, and small project management. These skills are further enhanced through advanced engineering coursework, formal reports, presentations to senior leadership, and mentoring from assignment leaders. A key requirement of the program is obtaining a Master's Degree in Engineering, which is fully paid for by the company. GE Appliances partners with a local university to provide customized, on-site classes that align with the program's needs. This comprehensive approach prepares EEDPs with the technical and professional skills necessary for career growth in engineering.
