Eddie Bauer Adventure Club Promoter
About The Position
The Eddie Bauer Adventure Club Promoter represents Travel + Leisure Co. at popular local attractions such as ports, malls, and theme parks, as well as at events including trade shows, festivals, and conferences. In this sales-based role, the promoter engages prospective customers in face-to-face conversations, shares information about the vacation club experience, and invites and incentivizes guests to attend vacation ownership presentations. The role is part-time. It requires greeting, presenting to, and incentivizing prospective customers in accordance with company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements while meeting minimum performance goals. The promoter also attends training and department meetings, stays current on marketing information, materials, and industry trends, and sets and reviews performance goals. No travel outside the home site's area is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the requirement.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills, and smart devices.
Nice To Haves
- 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage prospective customers and present and incentivize them to attend a sales presentation in accordance with company policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals.
- Attend scheduled training sessions and department meetings.
- Keep current on marketing information and materials and industry trends.
- Set and review performance goals weekly, monthly, and annually.
- Represent Travel + Leisure as a brand ambassador at local attractions and events, and share information about the vacation club experience.
