About the position
The Strategic Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical and subject matter expertise to the Global Strategic Sales Team in order to close new business with retail and brand clients. They will collaborate with sales and client management teams to generate new business, support the sales discovery process, and offer solutions that meet customer needs. The role also involves preparing and delivering presentations, conducting ROI analysis, and providing market feedback to product management. Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales engineering experience, focused on consultative sales of enterprise software and services sales
- Driven, polished, technology-proficient professional
- Hands-on experience supporting teams closing six-figure contracts against seven-figure targets
- Retail experience and online retailer or brand network preferred
- Knowledge of customer technology challenges within the retail and/or e-commerce industries
- Knowledge of retail partner ecosystem including marketplaces
- Knowledge of retail media and digital marketing strategies & KPIs within e-commerce industries
- Language support for English + Spanish or German required for UK/Spain roles
