About The Position

Advance Plumbing & Heating Supply Company is seeking an eCommerce Data Analyst to serve as the product expert for its website. Success in the role requires the ability to learn, an interest in growing the business, and clear communication. The analyst owns web product data, works with the web team to recommend product positioning and categorization based on customer trends and promotional plans, and processes product data to meet different channel requirements. The company is a fourth-generation family-owned business founded in 1920, with locations in Detroit and Walled Lake, Michigan.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Advanced Excel experience, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• Comfort with basic HTML or willingness to learn.
• Honesty and integrity, including maintaining commitments.
• Ability to manage workload, shift priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer platforms with speed and accuracy.
• Ability to comprehend technical details.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI preferred.
• eCommerce experience.
• Unilog experience is a major asset.
• Experience with Rithum/Channel Advisor, Shopify, eBay, Walmart, or Amazon is helpful.
• Self-motivated, positive, team-oriented approach.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own product data, including pricing, new product launches, and reviewing, correcting, and updating product information for accuracy.
• Work with the web team to recommend product positioning and categorization based on customer trends and promotional plans.
• Understand data requirements for different channels and process files from one channel to another.
• Manage workload, shift priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Identify issues, problems, or opportunities and determine whether action is needed.
• Navigate multiple computer platforms accurately and efficiently.
• Comprehend technical details.
• Participate in educational and learning opportunities to develop skills or knowledge.
