About The Position

The Ecom Full Stack Developer works in the Technology Consultant 2 job role within Infosys’s Digital Experience unit, which creates integrated, personalized digital experiences and platforms for enterprise customers. The role provides deep technical expertise in React JS, Next JS, micro-frontend architecture, Java Spring Boot APIs, and microservices for specific business environments. It helps set technical direction across groups of applications and technologies and is responsible for technically robust solutions that account for business, architecture, and technology constraints. The position coordinates teams through design, development, and end-to-end implementation using an AI-led approach. The role contributes to requirements elicitation, software design discussions, coding, feature integration, code reviews, testing, production support, and technical documentation. It also works with product teams on product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates; maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies; and promotes continuous improvement and sound development practices. The position includes supervising and directing backend team members, developing and motivating colleagues, and coaching them to achieve strong performance. A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Infosys will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education. The position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive specialty experience in lieu of each year of education.
At least 6 years of experience in Java Spring Boot-based microservices and API design, development, and implementation.
Strong knowledge of ReactJS, Next.js, micro-frontends and their architecture, Node.js, JavaScript, DOM manipulation, the JavaScript object model, object-oriented programming and design patterns, CSS, SCSS, HTML5, Redux, Context API, React Hooks API, GraphQL, and Apollo Client.
Advanced ability to design, develop, and prototype APIs and microservices for customer-facing mobile and web applications.
Experience with REST API design and development, Spring Cloud (Config and Circuit Breaker), Kubernetes, Apache Camel, Redis, MongoDB, MySQL, JUnit 5, Mockito, and WireMock.
Knowledge of Resilience4j or Hystrix, Drools or jBPM, and IBM MQ or RabbitMQ.
Experience with payment integrations such as ACI, CyberSource, Klarna, or Google Pay.
Knowledge of JWT and OAuth2 authentication.
Experience with DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Jenkins or GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, and Azure services including Container Registry and Key Vault.
Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, Jira, Agile methodologies, and Git version control.
Expertise in AI-led development using LLMs, Copilot, or similar AI tools and accelerators.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and exposure to React JS-based frontend applications.
Proficiency in unit and integration test automation using JUnit and JMeter.
Experience with Azure services including AKS and Service Bus, and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
Experience with asynchronous workers and resilient messaging services such as Kafka, SNS, and SQS.
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution focus.
Superior knowledge of multiple technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments.
Advanced knowledge across application, collaboration, data integration, network, platform, security, systems management, and site reliability engineering architecture domains.
Advanced collaboration skills with technical and non-technical colleagues, including ability to handle conflict and work with distributed teams.
Advanced knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and object-oriented analysis and design.
Ability to quickly understand the functions and capabilities of new technologies and align technical direction with business strategies.
Ability to estimate the financial impact of technical architecture alternatives.
Strong knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes.

Responsibilities

Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned portions of business requirements in accordance with guidance.
