About The Position

As a Technology Consultant 1, the ECOM Full Stack Developer provides development expertise across React.js, Next.js, micro-frontend architecture, Java Spring Boot APIs, and microservices for specific business environments. The role helps set technical direction for groups of applications and related technologies, and takes responsibility for technically robust solutions that account for business and technology constraints. It covers design, development, and end-to-end implementation, following an AI-led approach. The role supports the software development lifecycle, including gathering and documenting stakeholder requirements, contributing to software specifications and process documentation, developing and documenting code, executing tests and reporting defects, integrating new features, and monitoring and troubleshooting production applications. The developer also contributes to API lifecycle management and continuous improvement, collaborates with product teams on ideas and prototypes, and shares technical knowledge while supporting and coaching team members. Infosys Digital Experience creates integrated, personalized digital experiences and platforms for enterprise clients. The position may require relocation and/or travel to a work or project location. The estimated annual compensation range for Jersey City, New Jersey, is $64,438 to $108,884.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
At least 7 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing Java Spring Boot-based microservices and APIs.
Experience with React.js, Next.js, micro-frontend applications and architecture, Node.js, JavaScript, DOM manipulation, JavaScript object model, object-oriented programming and patterns, CSS, SCSS, HTML5, Redux, Context API, React Hooks API, GraphQL, and Apollo Client.
Advanced ability to design, develop, and prototype APIs and microservices for customer-facing mobile and website applications.
Knowledge of REST API design and development, Spring Cloud, Apache Camel, Redis, MongoDB, MySQL, JUnit 5, Mockito, and WireMock.
Knowledge of Resilience4j or Hystrix, Drools or jBPM, and IBM MQ or RabbitMQ.
Experience with payment integrations such as ACI, CyberSource, Klarna, or Google Pay.
Knowledge of JWT and OAuth2 authentication.
Experience with DevOps and monitoring tools including Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Jenkins or GitHub Actions, Azure Container Registry, Azure Key Vault, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Agile methodologies, and Git version control.
Expertise in AI-led development using LLMs, Copilot, or similar AI accelerators and tools.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and React.js front-end applications.
Proficiency in unit and integration test automation using JUnit and JMeter.
Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and issue-resolution skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Advanced collaboration skills with technical and non-technical colleagues, including the ability to handle conflict and work with distributed teams.
Advanced knowledge of SOA and object-oriented analysis and design, and ability to quickly understand new technologies and their capabilities.
Knowledge of diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments, including application, collaboration, data integration, networks, platform, security, systems management, and site reliability engineering architecture domains.
Ability to understand business strategies and align technical direction with them, estimate the financial impact of architecture alternatives, and apply business process re-engineering principles.

Responsibilities

Assist with targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and accurately document stakeholder requirements.
Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and help create process documentation.
Develop, refine, and document code for software applications according to design specifications and user requirements.
Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to support software performance improvements.
Support integration of new software features into existing system infrastructure.
Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, resolve issues promptly, and document system maintenance needs.
Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions for the team knowledge repository.
Design, develop, and implement React.js, Next.js, micro-frontend, Java Spring Boot API, and microservice solutions.
Set technical direction for groups of applications and produce technically robust solutions within business and technology constraints.
Design and prototype APIs and microservices for customer-facing mobile and website applications.
Participate in API lifecycle management, including API design practices, discovery, inventory management, and governance.
Work with product teams on product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates.
Keep current with relevant product and platform features and drive continuous improvement of products, processes, and tools.
Develop and motivate team members, coach them toward strong performance, and lead through clear expectations and measurement.
