About The Position

The ECOM Full Stack Developer works in Infosys Digital Experience, a unit that creates integrated, personalized digital experiences and platforms for enterprise customers. In the assigned role of Technology Consultant 1, the position contributes across the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design discussions, development, testing, integration, production support, troubleshooting, and documentation. The role provides full-stack development expertise with React JS, Next JS, micro-frontends, Java Spring Boot APIs, and microservices. It contributes to technical direction for groups of applications and technologies and delivers technically robust solutions that account for business and technology constraints. Responsibilities include design, development, and end-to-end implementation using an AI-led approach. The position may require relocation and/or travel to the work or project location. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
Full-stack development expertise in React JS, Next JS, micro-frontends, Java Spring Boot APIs, and microservices.
At least 7 years of experience in Java Spring Boot-based microservices or API design, development, and implementation.
Experience with design, development, and end-to-end implementation of solutions using an AI-led approach.
Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work across most areas of the software development lifecycle and in a fast-paced, team-based environment, including with distributed teams.
Advanced knowledge of multiple technical configurations, technologies, processing environments, and architecture domains, including application, collaboration, data integration, networks, platform, security, systems management, and site reliability engineering.
Advanced knowledge of SOA and object-oriented analysis and design.
Ability to quickly understand new technologies and their capabilities, and to align technical direction with business strategies.
Ability to estimate the financial impact of technical architecture alternatives.
Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes.

Nice To Haves

Experience leading modern front-end and back-end application solution design and implementation.
Knowledge of ReactJS, Next.js, micro-frontend applications and architecture, Node.js, JavaScript, DOM manipulation, JavaScript object model, object-oriented programming and patterns, CSS, SCSS, HTML5, Redux, Context API, React Hooks API, GraphQL, and Apollo Client.
Advanced API and microservice design, development, and prototyping for customer-facing mobile applications and websites used internally and externally.
Experience with REST API design and development, Spring Cloud (Config, Circuit Breaker, Kubernetes), Apache Camel, Redis, MongoDB, MySQL, JUnit 5, Mockito, and WireMock.
Knowledge of Resilience4j or Hystrix, Drools or jBPM, and IBM MQ or RabbitMQ.
Experience with payment integrations such as ACI, CyberSource, Klarna, and Google Pay.
Knowledge of JWT and OAuth2 authentication.

Experience with Azure Container Registry and Key Vault, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Agile methodologies, Git, and other project-management tools.
Expertise in AI-led development using LLMs, Copilot, or similar AI accelerators and tools.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and React JS-based front-end applications.
Proficiency in unit and integration test automation using JUnit and JMeter.
Advanced collaboration skills, including the ability to handle conflict and work effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and developing with current and emerging technologies and frameworks.

Responsibilities

Assist with targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and accurately document stakeholder requirements.
Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and help create process documentation.
Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications according to detailed design specifications and user requirements.
Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to support improvements in software performance.
Support integration of new software features and transitions into existing system infrastructure.
Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, promptly resolve issues, and document ongoing system maintenance.
Document coding practices, testing methodologies, and technical solutions for the team's knowledge repository.
Design, develop, and implement full-stack solutions involving React JS, Next JS, micro-frontends, Java Spring Boot APIs, and microservices.
Set technical direction for groups of applications and related technologies, and deliver solutions that address business and technology constraints.
Work with product teams on product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates.
Participate in API lifecycle management, including API design practices, discovery, inventory management, and governance.
Drive continuous improvement of products, processes, and tools through best practices.
Develop and motivate team members, coach colleagues, and help establish clear expectations and performance measures.
Support a proactive, collaborative culture and troubleshoot and resolve issues.
