About The Position

Goldschmitt and Associates LLC (G&A) is seeking a Full Stack Developer to build and maintain enterprise and SaaS applications supporting technology transformation and modernization projects for federal agencies. The position is remote, with preference for candidates within commuting distance of the DMV area. Anticipated travel is 5%, and the anticipated salary is $85,000–$130,000, depending on experience. The developer will create responsive web interfaces, backend services, APIs, and database components; implement security controls; and test, troubleshoot, and optimize application functionality. The role involves collaboration with technical and business stakeholders and participation in code reviews. Candidates must have at least three years of professional software development experience, a bachelor's degree, and the ability to pass and maintain eligibility for a Public Trust investigation, including U.S. citizenship.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional software development experience, including full-stack development of enterprise web applications and/or SaaS solutions.
Bachelor's degree.
Ability to pass and maintain eligibility for a Public Trust investigation, including U.S. citizenship.
Experience developing frontend applications using React and backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs.
Experience with relational databases and data modeling.
Experience with modern software development, testing, and deployment practices.
Frontend experience with JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, React hooks and functional components, and Redux/Redux Toolkit.
Backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
API experience with RESTful web services, API integration, and Swagger/OpenAPI.
Database experience with MySQL or comparable relational databases, SQL, and data modeling.
Experience building data-heavy pages with pagination, tables, sorting/filtering, complex forms, validation, and CRUD operations.
Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.
Experience with AWS, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker.
Experience with frontend and backend automated testing frameworks.

Experience developing scheduling, workforce management, or government applications.
Experience with TypeScript, Bootstrap 5/React-Bootstrap, and React Router.
Experience with Vitest or Jest, React Testing Library, MSW, or JUnit.
Experience with interactive dashboards, data visualization, print-optimized layouts, and PDF report generation.
Experience with AWS GovCloud, Cognito, API Gateway, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, CloudFormation, IAM, or Secrets Manager.

Responsibilities
