About The Position

Stefanini Group is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work on in-house propulsion applications in the CAD/CAE domain. The role involves understanding requirements, designing and developing solutions, debugging and analyzing problems, testing components and models, and pushing tested modules to a version-controlled environment such as GitHub. The developer will use object-oriented programming concepts, Java, Angular, automation testing, and other suitable technologies to build and maintain software applications.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience using Java full stack to design scalable web applications with microservices architecture and APIGEE or RESTful APIs.
At least 3 years of experience using Angular to create user-friendly front ends and enable real-time data updates in web application interfaces.
Hands-on experience developing web applications using LLMs, chatbots, RAG, and AI APIs.
At least 5 years of SQL/database experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL.
Google Cloud Platform development and deployment experience, including Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and GCS Bucket.
Strong manual and automated functional, integration, and regression testing skills.
Experience writing complex SQL queries for relational databases.
Experience using GitHub or an equivalent source-control platform and applying test-driven development practices.
Strong troubleshooting skills for application and performance issues.
Ability to manage changing priorities, work independently, and take initiative when unexpected problems arise.
Bachelor's degree.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Agile development and Jira, as well as TDD/BDD practices.
Strong understanding of object-oriented design.
Experience using static and dynamic analysis to assess code quality.
Experience with AI development.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their use cases, pain points, and requirements, and advocate for user-centric software solutions.
Design, develop, and deliver solutions to complex problems using appropriate tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies, and technologies.
Assess application or service requirements and determine suitable technology stacks, integration methods, and deployment strategies.
Create high-level software architecture designs outlining application structure, components, and interfaces.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and architects.
Define and implement software testing strategies, guidelines, policies, and processes aligned with organizational goals, regulations, and industry practices.
Improve application performance and optimize applications; implement technologies to increase development efficiency.
Apply programming practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
Support security practices that safeguard user data, including encryption and anonymization.
Create user-friendly and interactive interfaces.
Develop and maintain back-end applications, including APIs and microservices, using server-side languages.
Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies and capabilities, and monitor and participate in solutions involving new technology stack layers.
Understand requirements, design and develop solutions, debug and analyze problems, test components and models, and push tested modules to version control.
