About The Position

The Ecom Full Stack Developer, assigned to the Technology Consultant 2 job role in Infosys’s Digital Experience unit, provides technical expertise across React JS, Next JS, micro-frontends, Java Spring Boot APIs, and microservices for business environments. The role helps set technical direction for groups of applications and related technologies, and takes responsibility for technically robust solutions that account for business, architecture, and technology constraints. It coordinates teams through design, development, and end-to-end implementation using an AI-led approach. The position participates across the software development lifecycle, from requirements elicitation and design discussions to coding, integration, testing, deployment support, and production issue resolution. It also contributes to code reviews, repository maintenance, documentation, user training, and ongoing improvement of software reliability and quality. The role works with product and cross-functional teams, supports and develops backend team members, and helps deliver customer-facing applications for mobile apps and websites.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of each year of education.
Deep technical expertise in React JS, Next JS, micro-frontends, Java Spring Boot API development, and microservice development.
At least 6 years of experience in Java Spring Boot-based microservices or API design, development, and implementation.
Experience leading modern front-end and backend application solution design and implementation.
Knowledge of ReactJS, Next, micro-frontend applications and architecture, Node.js, JavaScript, DOM manipulation, JavaScript object model, object-oriented programming and patterns, CSS, SCSS, HTML5, Redux, Context API, React Hooks API, GraphQL, and Apollo Client.
Advanced skills designing, developing, and prototyping APIs and microservices for customer-facing mobile apps and websites.
Experience with REST API design and development, Spring Cloud, Apache Camel, Redis, MongoDB, MySQL, JUnit 5, Mockito, and WireMock.
Knowledge of Resilience4j or Hystrix; Drools or jBPM; and IBM MQ or RabbitMQ.
Experience with payment integrations such as ACI, CyberSource, Klarna, or Google Pay.
Knowledge of JWT and OAuth2 authentication.
Experience with DevOps, monitoring, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with Azure services including Container Registry, Key Vault, AKS, or Service Bus, and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, Jira, Agile methodologies, Git, and project management tools such as Confluence.
Expertise in AI-led development using LLMs, Copilot, or similar AI accelerators and tools.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and React JS-based front-end applications.
Proficiency in unit and integration test automation using JUnit and JMeter.
Strong analytical, verbal, written, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team-based environment and focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Superior knowledge of multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments.
Advanced knowledge of application, collaboration, data integration, networks, platform, security, systems management, and site reliability engineering architecture domains.
Advanced collaboration skills with technical and non-technical team members, including ability to handle conflict and work with distributed teams.
Advanced knowledge of SOA and object-oriented analysis and design.
Ability to quickly understand new technologies and their capabilities.
Ability to understand business strategies and ensure technical direction supports and aligns with them.
Ability to estimate the financial impact of technical architecture alternatives.
Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes.

GraphQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

Document assigned portions of business requirements as part of requirements elicitation.
Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions for technical teams.
