About The Position

Requirements

Previous experience working with toddlers ages 2–3 in a childcare or preschool setting.
Strong understanding of early childhood development.
Ability to manage a classroom with energy, structure, and warmth.
Proven experience working with spirited, expressive children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, flexibility, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Nice To Haves

CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for 2-year-old children.
Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Encourage language development, independence, and positive behavior through structured and play-based learning.
Manage classroom routines, including meals, nap time, diapering or toileting, and transitions.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
Observe and assess children’s development, maintain accurate records, and share progress with parents.
Address challenging behaviors with patience, consistency, and understanding.
