The Teacher supports daily classroom operations and the implementation of Cadence Education programs under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher. The role helps provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports children’s physical, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs, including those of children with IEPs. Teachers help maintain classroom routines, support curriculum delivery, build positive relationships with children and families, and ensure safety and licensing compliance. The position supports a positive and inclusive classroom where children are treated with dignity, respect, and care. It includes assisting with developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs, following individual support plans as directed, communicating with families and colleagues, documenting and escalating incidents and behavior concerns, and following company policies. Flexibility is essential: schedules may change with enrollment, staffing ratios, or operational needs; shifts are not guaranteed to be eight hours, and daily start and end times may vary.
