About The Position

The Preschool Teacher for the 2 Year Old Classroom creates a nurturing, stimulating learning environment and provides preschool children with engaging, developmentally appropriate educational experiences. The role reflects Celebree School’s mission, vision, and values in classroom activities and supports classroom aides as they develop toward becoming Celebree Teachers. The franchise-owned location provides access to training, continuous learning, development opportunities, individual growth plans, and career pathways. Hours are Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Meet the requirements to be a lead teacher as approved by the governing State agency.
Have comprehensive knowledge and understanding of children’s behavioral and developmental stages.
Have knowledge of childcare licensing requirements.
Demonstrate the ability to manage a classroom.
Have strong organizational, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate patience and flexibility.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement creative, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that foster learning, curiosity, and exploration.
Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to express themselves and learn through play.
Incorporate language-rich activities, storytelling, and early literacy experiences into daily routines to build communication skills, vocabulary, and an interest in reading.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom, including its materials, equipment, and play areas.
Communicate openly and regularly with parents, sharing insights, updates, and information about each child’s development.
Support classroom aides in their growth toward becoming Celebree Teachers.
