About The Position

Kensington School is hiring Early Childhood Teachers and Teacher Assistants to support early childhood education at its growing, family-owned preschool. The roles offer experienced educators and people developing their careers an opportunity to help create a positive first school experience for children while building skills and pursuing professional growth. Educators are encouraged to bring their individual talents and interests—including art, science, sports, languages, and math—into the classroom. The position requires a consistent, full-time Monday–Friday schedule and year-round availability.

Requirements

Experience working with children from birth through age 5.
A genuine passion for helping young children learn and grow.
Ability to work a consistent full-time Monday–Friday schedule.
Availability to work year-round.
Qualifications that meet Illinois DCFS requirements for the position.

Lead Teachers: $22–$24 per hour.
Teacher Assistants: $18.00 per hour.
