Early Childhood Teachers and Teacher Assistants
About The Position
Kensington School is seeking Early Childhood Teachers and Teacher Assistants to provide early childhood education and help create a positive first school experience for children. The school encourages educators to share their individual interests and creativity in the classroom, and offers opportunities to develop professionally and advance within the organization. A dedicated Career Coach supports staff members’ professional development. Positions are year-round and require a consistent Monday–Friday schedule. Lead Teachers are paid $23–$25 per hour, and Teacher Assistants are paid $18.50 per hour. The company also offers annual performance-based pay increases, insurance, paid time off, professional development and CDA assistance, paid CPR and First Aid training, career advancement opportunities, and an end-of-year Successful Completion Bonus for eligible full-time employees, based on attendance and hours worked.
Requirements
- Experience working with children from birth through age 5.
- A genuine passion for helping young children learn and grow.
- Ability to work a consistent Monday–Friday schedule.
- Availability to work year-round.
- Qualifications that meet Illinois DCFS requirements for the position.
