About The Position

ECE Subhub is hiring Early Childhood Substitute Teachers to support classrooms serving children ages 0 to 5. We work with your availability to build a weekday schedule. We believe children thrive when they are supported by caring, dependable, and engaged adults, and we believe our staff should feel supported, prepared, and valued in the work they do.

Requirements

• Experience working with children from birth through age 5
• Associate degree or 18 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Human Services, Youth or Family Studies, or Elementary Education
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Family or Youth Studies, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement, Human Services, or Child Development
• Current CDA credential

Nice To Haves

• CPR Adult and Pediatric Certification. If you are not currently certified, we will provide certification.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with classroom activities and daily routines
• Helping implement lesson plans
• Supervising children to keep them safe
• Building positive relationships with children and staff
• Maintaining a warm and professional classroom presence
