About The Position

This position reports to the Director of Supported Housing with the responsibility of supervising the day-to-day operations of the Emerging Adults housing program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology or another related field.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in a mental health or social service setting, with at least 2 years working with youth in the same setting.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficient in Word and Excel.
  • Strong professional and ethical behaviors.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to show proof of personal automobile insurance.
  • Must be insurable under Park Center’s automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains all facilities at maximum capacity by receiving and reviewing referrals, interviewing prospective participants, completing intakes, and ensuring houses have needed supplies.
  • Manages record keeping and administrative duties, including submitting time sheets and monthly/quarterly reports, and collecting rent.
  • Maintains licensure and program compliance through site visits, developing program components, inspecting houses for cleanliness and safety, ensuring documentation is completed, maintaining accurate participant records, coordinating cleanliness, maintaining medication according to standards, and ensuring all other licensure standards are met.
  • Coordinates support services for participants by working with service providers and staff, facilitating house meetings, developing in-house services, participating in supervision and staffing, coordinating transportation, and ensuring participants have proper medication.
  • Handles case management responsibilities, including maintaining a caseload, developing service and transition plans, handling crisis situations, transporting participants, linking and referring participants to services, and assessing participants' strengths, resources, and needs.
  • Manages public/staff relations by utilizing voice and email, communicating with staff, developing relationships with external agencies, and working as a team player.
  • Assists with program development, including new housing and program components.
  • Performs other duties as a member of Park Center, including attending meetings, assisting with events, participating in on-call rotations, maintaining good attendance, and following personnel policies.
