About The Position

Veo is a shared micromobility provider whose mission is to make clean transportation accessible and reduce car dependency. The company designs and manufactures its vehicles, hardware, and software in-house and operates local markets directly. Veo is hiring an E-Scooter Delivery Driver to maintain its vehicles and support efficient fleet operations. Drivers use a company van to locate scooters, swap batteries, rebalance vehicles, complete quality checks, and perform minor repairs. The role requires outdoor work through the winter and physical activity throughout the shift. A company van is provided. Candidates must have reliable transportation to, or live near, the warehouse on S 4th Avenue in Mount Vernon, New York. The stated schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 1:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. There may be a path to full-time work for strong performers. The expected pay range is $19 per hour. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage and paid time off.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must have a smartphone and be comfortable using apps.
• Ability to lift scooters weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• True outdoor work experience and comfort working through the winter.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of local geography and street layouts.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for early morning, night, and weekend shifts.
• Related experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, or similar work.

Responsibilities

• Follow mobile app instructions to complete shift tasks.
• Drive a company van to locate scooters and swap their batteries.
• Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas.
• Perform basic repairs and quality checks.
• Respond to on-demand requests to locate or retrieve scooters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
