About The Position

Veo is a shared micromobility provider whose mission is to end car dependency by making clean transportation accessible to all. The company designs and manufactures its vehicles, hardware, and software in-house and operates local markets directly. Veo is seeking an operations professional to maintain vehicles and improve fleet operations while providing riders with a good experience. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers locate scooters, swap batteries, rebalance vehicles throughout the city, and perform quality checks and minor repairs. The role is active throughout the shift and involves following app instructions and driving a company van. Full-time shifts are available: Thursday–Sunday, 5 a.m.–1 p.m., or Saturday–Wednesday, 1 p.m.–9 p.m. A company van is provided. Candidates must live near or have reliable transportation to the warehouse on 12th Street in Santa Monica, California. Pay is $20 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Have a smartphone and be comfortable using apps.
• Be able to lift scooters weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance.
• Have good communication skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of local geography and street layouts.
• A flexible schedule, including availability for early morning, night, and weekend shifts.
• Related experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, or similar work.

Responsibilities

• Follow mobile app instructions to complete shift tasks.
• Drive a company van to locate scooters and swap their batteries.
• Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas.
• Perform basic repairs and quality checks.
• Respond to on-demand requests to locate or retrieve scooters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
