E-Scooter Delivery Driver
About The Position
Veo is seeking operations professionals who are passionate about providing riders with an excellent experience by maintaining vehicles and continually improving fleet operations. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers locate scooters, swap batteries, rebalance vehicles throughout the city, and perform quality checks and minor repairs. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and staying active throughout a shift. The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. The listed pay range is $18 per hour.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Have a smartphone and be comfortable using apps.
- Be able to lift scooters weighing up to 60 pounds without assistance.
- Have good communication skills and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of local geography and street layout.
- A flexible schedule, including availability for early morning, night, and weekend shifts.
- Related experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, or similar work.
Responsibilities
- Follow the mobile app instructions to complete shift tasks.
- Drive a company van to find scooters and swap batteries.
- Rebalance scooters from low-demand to high-demand areas.
- Perform basic repairs and quality checks.
- Respond to on-demand requests to locate or retrieve scooters.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
