Founded in 1984, the company offers best-in-class advice on premium gear and technical apparel, a members-only benefits program, and a curated selection of products for outdoor adventures and urban pursuits. Our team is united by a passion for excellence, bringing together diverse talents and interests. Despite our growth, we remain true to our roots as the local shop nearly 40 years ago. Dedicated to sustainability, we strive to minimize our environmental impact, ensuring our love for the outdoors is matched by our commitment to preserving it. Our vision To be the biggest little shop. Our mission To equip our clients with the most durable & well-designed goods through an ecommerce experience that’s unequaled. Our values Put the customer first. Just say it. Run with it. Have fun. The role As a Studio Coordinator, you are the person who keeps the studio's daily operations moving. You handle the logistics for photo shoots and product descriptions, build and adjust schedules, coordinate freelancers, and bridge the gap between business needs and the reality on the studio floor. You also keep an eye on production metrics and take charge of the pre-production cycle for private labels. The studio operates at a sustained commercial pace, fueling Altitude Sports' e-commerce needs for photos and product descriptions. Coordination must support both the quality of the deliverables and the expected daily volume.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of coordination experience in a high-volume production environment, ideally in e-commerce or a photo studio.
  • Comfortable with the pace of a commercial studio and production KPIs: able to deliver on both volume and quality, relying on data to track performance and support decisions.
  • Written and oral communication skills in both French and English, with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams and circulate the right information at the right time.
  • Autonomy, rigor, and a solution-oriented mindset: able to proactively solve problems and see a project through to completion without the need for micromanagement.
  • Strong interest in products — you enjoy understanding what you sell and the mindset of customers who are outdoor and fashion enthusiasts.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Creative Force or a photo production management tool is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the studio's central point of contact: gather requests, manage unforeseen events, and ensure the right information flows between the creative, operational, and business teams.
  • Build and maintain production schedules to provide clear visibility into the studio's agenda, and adapt the workflow based on daily volume.
  • Take charge of the pre-production cycle for private labels: casting, shoot coordination, contract follow-ups, and special projects.
  • Coordinate the sourcing, onboarding, and administrative follow-up of the freelancer pool, while respecting the allocated budget.
  • Manage the product sample lifecycle: ordering, receiving, preparation (steaming, presentation setup), tracking, and return to the warehouse post-production.
  • Orchestrate daily photo production in Creative Force and step in to resolve blockers in real-time.
  • Ensure quality control of final deliverables before delivery to guarantee the compliance of the photographic production.
  • Track production metrics, identify bottlenecks, and submit optimization ideas to the manager.
