About The Position

The Shocker Store is looking for a creative, detail-oriented student to help bring their online store to life. This role is ideal for individuals interested in photography, marketing, graphic design, e-commerce, or digital content, offering an opportunity to build a portfolio while working on real projects. The coordinator will help maintain a fresh, engaging, and user-friendly online storefront.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise as needed.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and working on a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and special events.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Loves being creative and pays attention to the details.
• Enjoys photography and photo editing.
• Has strong writing and communication skills.
• Is organized and able to manage multiple projects.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.
• Enjoys learning new technology and creative tools.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with photography and photo editing.
• Experience with graphic design or digital content creation.
• Experience with website management or e-commerce platforms.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver).
• Experience with HTML, CSS, or other web design basics.

Responsibilities

• Photographing new merchandise and editing product images.
• Uploading products and keeping the online store updated.
• Writing engaging, informative product descriptions and website content.
• Helping ensure www.shockerstore.com stays accurate, organized, and visually appealing.
• Assisting with making web content accessible for all users.
• Collaborating with the Retail Buyer, Course Materials Manager, Marketing Director, and Director on a variety of creative projects.
